With a heart for the independent artist all along, Dave set out on his own and formed 80/20 Music - a boutique music streaming and promotions service for up-and-coming artists looking for guidance breaking their songs on the DSPs. Dave sat down with a select group of students LIVE to record 5 hours of content over 3 days - teaching everything he knows about independent artist promotion to the DSPs.

Your Instructor
Dave is a music industry professional and entrepreneur located in the greater Nashville area. Dave spent ten years at Integrity Music working with artists such as Matt Redman, Leeland and All Sons & Daughters.
Throughout his tenure at Integrity Music Dave worked in production, operations, distribution, song marketing, and radio promotions. His most recent experience at the label involved partnering with streaming services like Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Pandora, and YouTube to acquire unique insights and develop methods to help artists and songs gain greater visibility on those platforms. While serving in this role Dave secured over 500 playlist placements on behalf of Integrity artists.
In late 2020, Dave formed 80/20 Music which provides general consulting and streaming promotions to independent artists, labels, and churches.
Dave, his wife Elizabeth, and their two teenaged children live in Thompsons Station, TN.
